Community guidelines

Small World only connects people who've agreed to be connected. That makes most of the usual internet problems irrelevant here — there are no strangers, no comments, no feed. What's left is simpler and more important: how we treat the people we've let in.

Consent is the whole product

Every tether is mutual, and either side can change it or end it at any time, without asking and without explaining. Nobody is owed your location.

Nobody has to justify going quiet

Stealth mode exists so you can disappear whenever you want. Using it is not a statement, and nobody is told you turned it on. If someone in your life treats being unreachable as a problem, that's about them, not you.

Don't use Small World to pressure anyone

Asking someone to raise their tether level, stay visible, or explain where they are is a misuse of this app — whoever you are to them. If you're being pressured like this, you can lower a level, go invisible, or remove a tether entirely, and none of it sends a notification.

If something goes wrong
