Is this a tracking app?
No — and the difference is the whole point. A tracker answers “where are they right now?” whenever someone asks. Small World only ever says “you two are close by” to both of you, at the same moment. Nobody gets to look you up.
Can my friends see where I am on a map?
Only inside the boundaries you set, and never with a history attached. You choose a tether level for each person, and the more private setting always wins when two people have picked differently.
What if I don't want to be found today?
Turn on Stealth mode. You go invisible until you turn it off. No notification is sent, nobody is told you did it, and nothing about it shows up on anyone's screen.
Does it eat my battery?
No. Most of the time Small World uses coarse, infrequent updates. It only gets precise when you've asked it to — and it tells you when it is.
Is it free?
Small World is free to download today. If that ever changes we'll say so plainly and in advance — and the privacy features will never be the part you have to pay for.
